Daily flow of life goes on
The ups and downs of everyday
People I meet, the things I do
No matter what may come my way
I’m safe in Your care.
The choices I make, the life I live
Cradled within Your palms of love
Whatever steps in life I take
I can’t escape no matter how
I try to run from You my God.
Why do You love me despite my faults?
Why do You long for time with me?
Am I that precious that You follow around,
Even to the depths of the sea?
You won’t let me be.
Your ever presence guiding me
I cannot hide nor will You let
Me from Your sight, nor do I want
To turn away from You my Lord.
You are all I need.
