The other day God began to open up my eyes to the journeys He has taken me through, journeys of personal tutoring, mentorship and discipleship; how He had taken me from the ordinary life to a life of the unknown and the exciting.
I believe you and I have to come to that place in our lives where we reflect on where He has taken us from and focus on where we need to get to. Its' time to take self inspection and declare with Samuel that indeed the LORD has taken us thus far.
Each day is a journey that will add value into our daily being. Each day will build in us substance that will take us closer to the picture God has of us.
Recently a few friends decided to seek the Face of God and find out His mind. The result- extraordinary revelations of what He longs to do. You see, God is interested in rising up ordinary people to extraordinary places. He longs to bring out the needy from the ash heap and seat them among princes.
We need to come to that place and time where God can unveil us and make us known to the world as His artistic creation, a poem written for a specific time and purpose. I believe we need to go out for God and find out His desire for our life.
Moses knew the ways of God while Israel had insight on His acts. How intimate that relationship must have been as the man learnt form God. He didn't need to be taught things by man, he learnt straight from the Throne Room. A time is coming when man will have to hear from God about what is to come tomorrow and it is the adventurer with God who will have insight and knowledge of what is to come.
Everyone at a stage in their life has to undertake this journey and ensure that all things will turn out better. For Moses it was a 40 year degree that he had to experience in the School of Life in the desert. For you it may be something shorter but overall it is a journey that we must all engage in and victor through.
As this week folds out why not decide to be a journeyer, why not take time away from the busy schedule of life and seek the Face of God.
