My soul doth magnify Your Name, O Father
Your holiness is pure and magnificent
None other can approach Your greatness
Love from You fills my cup to overflowing
All worship and praise is due You, Father of life
At Your word the heavens and the earth became
Stars of your design light up the night sky
They help the moon to softly illuminate earth
Gloriously the work of Your hands proclaim
Exquisite works of art words fail to define
Taking away the very breath of mortal man
Filling his soul with songs of worship and praise
Such depth of wisdom cannot be fathomed
Poets fail miserably, at loss for adequate expression
Yet they are ever drawn by insatiable yearning
Reaching out feebly to praise the Greatest of All
O Father, as You mercifully consider Your creation
Please look beyond our weakness and kindly receive
Our offerings of love wrapped in song and praise
At Your holy feet may they remind You of our adoration
