What Does God Require of You?
(As Written in Zephaniah of the Old Testament in the "Holy Bible")

Follow these words as given to us by the prophet, Zephaniah. They bring life and not death. Study them. Read them over and over. Teach these truths to your children. Meditate on these truths day and night. They are life!
Beloved, swear by and worship the Lord only.
Don't turn away from the Lord.
Seek the Lord and inquire of him.
Hold thy peace in the presence of the Lord.
Do not fill the house with violence and deceit. Never say, " The Lord will not do good, neither will he do evil." Zephaniah 1:12
He is God; he is just and right in all that He does. Wait on the Lord. He alone is the righteous, true, and all knowing perfect judge. He knows all, and He sees all.
Remember that "The great day of the Lord is near." Zephaniah 1:14 Open your eyes, and sin not against the Lord. Do not be deceived by the sin of this world which only wants to kill, steal, and destroy. You become a puppet in the hand of powers of evil, when you turn your back on the true Creator of the world to follow after dead and worthless idols. You chart for yourself a horrible path of future destuction, distress, and the wrath of God.
"Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord's wrath." Zephaniah 1:18 The Lord is jealous and angry, and He will not share you with idols. "Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord's anger."
Zephaniah 2:3
Do not reproach the people of God. God will not allow his people to be abused and mocked by sinners and evil men. Obey God's voice. Receive correction. Trust in the Lord. Draw near to the one true and living God.
Priests and pastors, be not treacherous, and do not pollute the sanctuary which is holy and sanctified. Do not do violence to the law of God.
Every morning God brings his judgment to light. The unjust and the wicked have no shame.
They will soon be found out, and all will see it.
Fear the Lord. Honour God. Receive God's instructions just as you would receive the instructions from parents and teachers in school. These instructions and guidelines will sustain you and keep you safe from all harm.
Call upon the name of the Lord. A day is coming that all people will be able to call on the name of the Lord, in one language. What a great day this will be!
Love righteousness; hate evil. Continue to do good. Do not fear man. Speak the truth, and rejoice in the Lord.
