Only what’s done for Jesus Christ will last forever and ever.
Yes, it is true we must work, eat, relax, etc.
But, while here on the earth these things must always be secondary and never put first.
Seeing that we have been given such a great gift within.
Let us as Paul says count our lives down here as the mere beginning and not the end.
Therefore, being aliens, sojourners, and pilgrims let us stay our course and finish well.
For in so doing Christ Himself will crown us the victors and these things will be forever finished death, Satan, and hell.
Let us lift our heads to Heaven for our salvation draws nearer than when we first began in Christ.
For the path though filled with many trials and afflictions, will end where the new birth began in the bosom of Jesus Christ.
He is the Author and finisher of our faith, hope, and love now what could be better.
We win, therefore, let us sing praises to our Great God and King Jesus Christ forever and ever!
Matthew 16:24-26 Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to be My disciple, let him deny himself [disregard, lose sight of, and forget himself and his own interests] and take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying, also]. For whoever is bent on saving his [temporal] life [his comfort and security here] shall lose it [eternal life]; and whoever loses his life [his comfort and security here] for My sake shall find it [life everlasting]. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life [his blessed life in the kingdom of God]? Or what would a man give as an exchange for his [blessed] life [in the kingdom of God]? (Quick Amplified Bible)
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh {and} new has come! (Quick Amplified Bible)
