The stars are shining brightly, too numerous to count
The beauty of the full moon turns my eyes gazing upward
I sit on the porch steps in awe and silent amazement
Man’s greatest achievements cannot match this splendor
As I sit here beholding this glorious sight I agree with David
Who wrote when he began Psalm 19 so many years ago
Those wonderful words, “The heavens declare the glory of God;”
Wrote the psalmist, “And the firmament shows His handiwork.”
While tending his father’s sheep, the shepherd boy meditated
The glory of God he saw revealed in the panorama above
For the young lad there was no doubt how the world began
For the creator had stamped His signature there for all to see
As I gaze at the magnificence of His work spread before me
I cannot help but remind myself: this, as beautiful as it appears,
Is nothing to compare with that my Savior is preparing with love
Mansions in Heaven, streets of gold, eternal bliss, all just for us
Glory to God in the highest!!!! The splendor he reveals is breathtaking!! Beautiful words written here Thomas.

Very well put. Yes, when we see the full moon, as we did last night, it is an amazing beauty to behold. And to think, we see not even a pin-head view of all the glories of the universe. Have we ever got a lot of things ahead of us in the eternity to come...Amazing!...Thanks for sharing, and bringing this to our attention...Helen
