REVENGE IS SERVED

Once upon a time, in a land far far away on the planet of Bork, there lived a very strong Borkling named Pluck.
Now Borklings were blue in colour if they were male and red in colour if they were female, but they both had big beautiful wings.
Bork was a male and one day he decided to take the law into his own hands and become a self appointed super hero. He found a group of like-minded Borklings and they gave themselves a corny super hero group name.
Although their name sucked, their game didn’t and with time they became famous in the country on Planet Bork in which they lived.
As with all Justice Seekers, revenge is sometimes a motivator and you can’t tell if a super hero is seeking justice or chasing a personal vendetta.
Pluck soon found himself always seeking revenge on one bad guy and another. After all when criminals hurt us, we hurt them back and put them in jail. Hurt those that hurt you. But in a super hero’s world , hurt those who hurt others, that is the super hero motto. The problem is that there is a thin line between punching up bad guys as a necessity when they resist arrest and punching up bad guys because it makes you feel good – It feels so right to beat up someone so bad. The thing is that is called revenge, it’s different from justice.
Pluck narrowed his missions down to seeking revenge. If you wanted revenge call Pluck and his group of super heroes on their hotline and revenge would be served.
Pluck’s group of super heroes grew really big and there seemed to be always work for everybody because someone always wanted revenge.
A few years later, the Planet of Bork seemed empty, however its prisons were very full.
It turned out that everyone had had someone else who had wronged them and they all wanted revenge. No matter how good or nice you were, somewhere along the line you might have done something to someone – something so bad that is deserving of a jail sentence.
That made Pluck realize the importance of forgiveness and never seeking revenge. For as it was written in the bible, all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
The same way someone might have done something to you that you deem unforgivable, is the same way you might have done something to someone else that they deem unforgivable. He who has no sin let him cast the first stone.
Understanding this, Pluck then restructured his group of super heroes to seek justice not revenge.

PRAYER OF SALVATION:
If you’ve been touched by what you just read and you’ve never given your heart to Jesus and would love to become a Christian, please say this prayer and mean it with all your heart :
“Oh Lord God, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ. Your word says, ‘… whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved’ ( Acts 2:21 )
I ask Jesus to come into my heart to be the lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit and according to Romans 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved, “I declare that I am saved; I am born – again; I am a child of God! I now have Christ dwelling in me, and greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world! ( 1 John 4:4 ). I now walk in the consciousness of my new life in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!”
PRAYER TO RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT:
“Oh Father, I thank you now for making me born again. For making me you child.
I ask that you give me your Holy Spirit to live in me and with me. For your word says that you would freely give the Holy Spirit to all those who ask. I open my heart and receive and I know by faith that you have given me your Holy Spirit. Thank you Father. In Jesus name. Amen.
CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ARE NOW A CHILD OF GOD. WELCOME TO THE FAMILY OF GOD.
