Romans 8 verse 28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
The God of all things tenderly cares for His own
He rules and reigns from his heavenly throne
The Lord gives and the Lord takes away
He causes the sun to rise and fall every day
Why do the birds sing lovely sweet songs
As wintry weather grips with its' icy tongs
I believe they know that God is in control
As lightning strikes and the thunder rolls
Life has seasons of joy, pain and sorrow
The trials of today may be gone tomorrow
Trust God who created everything we see
Remember the old saying "what will be will be"
The Lord knows what each of us need
He grew the tree that sprang from a seed
He needed a sturdy cross for his only son
God knew that tree would be the one
Paul praised the good Lord for his fleshly pain
God's grace was sufficient and heaven his gain
Through the many struggles and trials of life
God is in control even when pain cuts like a knife
People come into your life for a purpose and time
Health may flee even though you are in your prime
During trying times like these it is good to know
God's "all things" is helping your faith to grow
