I sought a mountain to sit
I was given a valley to learn
That all the blessings I have
I really did not earn.

So often we take credit for what God has achieved through us and so we need that reminder to do a self-check and see if we are indeed walking in His will. And that's the mountain top experience when it clicks--when you receive that which God intended for you to receive. And so He did answer the prayer of giving you that mountain top experience, though He chose the valley experience to bring you the answer. Bless you for the teaching.
