Free Indeed

You came down,
You left Your throne�
Your royal status from above;
To free me with Your love.

Without Your love�
Your unconditional love,
I�d be lost and alone;
Waiting to be found.

But because you thought of me,
I now have victory.
Your love has set me free.
Yes, I am free indeed.

You thought of me,
While hanging from that tree.
Yes, you thought of me�
When from hell You took the keys.

Now I�m walking in authority,
�cause I�ve got the victory.
From sin I�ve been set free,
You�ve given me back my liberty.

You are my Redeemer.
You are my Healer.
You are my Provider.
You are my Comforter.
You are my Saviour.

So when I speak, I speak�
As an Oracle for Thee.
You paid the price for me,
Now my life belongs to Thee.

My life is empty without You.
I can do nothing without You.
All the praise belongs to You.
I live to worship You.

Yes Janice. It is wonderful to know that we are free indeed. Isn't it amazing to realize, as you point out, that Jesus thought of ME -- each ME in the universe as He hung on the tree? Thanks for sharing...God bless!...Helen

Jan, I was greatly blessed in reading this. Jesus has indeed rescued those who believe and trust in Him. In the 3rd chapter of John we find that we were already condemned, and that He, Jesus, came to deliver us from that condemnation because of the God's great love. God bless, and it is good to be back reading your testimonies again.
