"Just think..." How many times
Have we heard that phrase before?
I wish sometimes it was something
We couldn’t or wouldn’t ignore
Just think before you speak
I’ve heard that one many times
I do my thinking with poetry
I just think things out in rhymes
Just think how different
Things would have been
Had you not taken the path you’re on
God only knows where you'd be then.
Just think what we could accomplish
If we were a body of one
Working all together
My God what we’d get done!
Just think of how differently
Things in our lives would be
If we couldn’t worship God
Or if we couldn’t be free
Just think, what if God
Hadn’t sent His Son to die
On an old rugged cross
That brings a tear to my eye
Just think for a bit of your life
Without Jesus in it every day
The thought of that makes me
Want to fall down on my knees and pray
Just think I’ll sit right here
And talk to the Lord above
And thank Him for His blessings
And His caring and His love
Just thinking I need to think
More about Him in all I do
I think I’ll get right on that
