"Anoint Me Lord"
Hold my hand Lord
Walk with me…
Lord, be my Shepherd
. . .That is my plea
Stand by me always
In case . . .I do fall
Keep your ear, inclined
To hear me, when I call
For I am so weak Lord
Growing frailer each day
My faith teeter-totters
Yet, I don’t want to stray
This world is so wicked
A person has to be strong
Dodging Satan’s darts . . .
The whole day long
Demons are tempting me
My path, they’ve wore thin
Keep a hedge . . .Between us
Don’t let them enter in
My day’s seem much shorter
The dark nights, so long
As I lay and give thought to
What’s right, and what’s wrong
When I awake in the morning
And begin my new day
Please, be sure to walk with me
And anoint me . . .Lord, I pray!
