Though night shadows lengthen
And dawn's far away,
I'll trust through the darkness
And wait for the day.
In sunshine or shadow
No need for alarm,
With Him watching o'er me
I'll come to no harm.
When doubts hold me captive
And my faith is dim,
I'll reach through the darkness
And hold on to Him.
He's promised to finish
What He has begun;
My fate I'll surrender,
The job will be done.
"For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him." II Chronicles 16:9a (NIV)

Beautiful poem. No matter what is happening in our lives God will be there for us.
I like this, Carol! There's hope in this.
Well done. He will finish what He has begun.
