I have this scar on my abdomen as a result of giving birth by cesarean section to my youngest daughter. I have another scar on my shin from a bicycle accident many years ago. We all have scars from accidents, surgery or an illness of some kind. Scars are not pretty – they can be a reminder of pain we experienced. We usually try to cover them up whenever possible. Scars tell the story of where we have been, of things that have happened to us in this journey we call life.
But we should not be ashamed of our scars! A scar represents healing. Look at your scars and see if there was a lesson learned with that experience that caused the scar. No matter how small, I bet you can find a victory won through the experience that left its scar.
What about scars of a different kind? Emotional scars. Some of us are so scarred inside that if those scars were visible to the naked eye, they would be one huge, ugly mark that covers our hearts....that completely takes over our hearts so that it almost can’t breathe, or live or….love.
Do you have scars??? Give them to Jesus…today! Only He can heal your scars and give you new skin…new life. Trust Him.

The emotional scars are the ones that are hardest to heal, and the ones we often try to hide the most. And, oh yes, Jesus specializes in scar healing, and He does not charge for His service. It is good to be back reading your presentations again. God bless.
