Sunrise to Sunrise
As the dawn breaks the sky and the sun begins to rise,
Capture my heart and bind it to Yours.
As slumber looses its grip and strength begins to flow,
Captivate my mind and plans.
As darkness gives way to light and sounds crowd up my space,
Calibrate my spirit to Your heart.
As time commences, and needs begin to mount,
Crown me with your loving kindness.
As I live to serve, when I feel alone,
Commune with me and be my joy.
As people come my way and need a helping hand,
Create in me a river of refreshing.
As the day wanes and sunset paints the sky,
Cradle me close to You and guard me as I rest.
