You feel as if your
world has fallen
The tears fall in vain
No one to hold you
No one to listen to your pain
How can you go on?
You yell “Jesus where are you!
You say you’re here yet
I don’t feel your embrace”
You yell until
you’re exhausted
You decide,” I guess Jesus isn’t here after all.”
As you get in bed
you hear a calm and
loving voice call your name
“ I AM here. I know
every tear and hardship
you are experiencing
Feel your heart beat?
I am there
Feel the compassion I bring?
I am there within you
I am there when you
receive or give love
I AM here
I AM here
Let my blanket of love cover you tonight
