As Christians we are born twice
So that we may die but once
The second death is not our portion
Free from the fear of death
Jesus wants us in that position
Many born once remain on earth
Such refuse to be crucified with Christ
They reject the second birth
So they miss His resurrection and life
Surely the second death is God’s wrath
Jesus paid an awesome price
Fear and death are devil’s lies
We reach out to receive the prize
We are born again
So we can have eternal life
Without genuine fear of God
The fear of death is certain
But believers are no longer in bondage of fear
For us to live is Christ our Lord
And to die is counted for us as gain.
