Do not rush through
This time we share
So precious to both of us both
Draw from the well
Refreshment anew
Carefully prepared for you
Allow your eyes
A lingering gaze
Upon my love filled face
As I draw you closer
To my open heart
Blessed time well spent and wise
I have spent some times in the past few days thinking about physical drought here in Colorado and times of drought in our lives, spirits and hearts.
As I got quiet, the Lord Jesus placed this invitation on my heart. How do I get closer to Him? By spending time in His presence like I would with any friend. Granted, Jesus is not just “any friend”. He has also written much to encourage challenge, teach and show His love to us.
How can we not take time to read those Words he inspired to be written over the years? Once again I find myself writing a sermon to me.
Does any of this also speak to you? I hope we can be challenged into taking action. There is no better place to be than right in the middle of His arms, with Him right in the middle of our lives!

A good thing for all of us to have times of reflection (I THINK that is what you meant) Did you mean the 3rd. line to repeat as it did? The thoughts were great.
