Victory through Surrender

Words given us from the Baptist
Learn to decrease, Jesus to increase
What wisdom, what escape, what release
Where I am today, I should not be tomorrow
Don’t step away, seek greater love, greater power
Greater hope, like the fragrance of a morning flower
Hem of His robe, our treasure to hold
His child I am, created for His love
New life given, His grace from above
His provision, His care, His power to share
Let old pass away, put on the new
Divine authority, to see you through
Learn to be still, learn to listen
Lord, your revelation, your word for feeding
His narrow path, our steps, His leading
What are we today, our passion His treasure?
Present Him your life, He’ll present his hand
Reach out and let him, His promise will stand
We need Him first, and foremost
His kindness, power, and presence so tender
Walk in Jesus, our victory thru surrender
