Involvement will bring rejection,
Discouragement, even dismemberment,
Opposition, isolation,
Persecution, demotion
Accusation, confrontation
Maligning, pain, suffering.
Attack, flack, back-stabbing,
Back-biting, misunderstanding,
Undermining and gerrymandering.
The price of involvement
Is high but worth paying
Because it brings fulfilment
In your God –given assignment.
So ensure it is a God-given
Divinely ordained assignment.
Then His grace will also be given
To see you through the assignment.
