We hear much about freedom, the high price paid by our forefathers, and our need to protect freedom. Average citizens do not commonly use the term liberty in conversations today. We visualize Lady Liberty towering above us with torch held high, or focus on a message of liberty and justice for all.
As Americans, we proudly salute our flag of freedom. The message of liberty in Christ, stretches beyond our shores, encircles the globe, exalting Him through believers of all nations, languages, and cultures. “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17 NKJ).” When resurrected from the grave, His victory liberated us from the bondage of sin.
