7/11/10 Sunday sermon Pastor Louie “Golf Ball” Gen 1:16-18, Psalm 33:6
The Earth is like a golf ball compared to the size of the sun and other bigger stars.
God made the stars with his breath as a side thought. Gen 1:16-18
So we should realize how big God is. The biggest star when compared to a golf ball (Earth) is five Empire state building on top of each other. The golf ball is the Earth that we (little microdots) live on.
Nothing is impossible for God to take care of. But as big as God is, he cared enough for us to send his son Jesus to die for our sins. The love God has for us is great.
When we pray, we should not tell God, review with God, make deals with God or question Him. God is great and powerful and knows EVERYTHING we are going through.
We, the little inhabitants of little Earth(golf ball), need the maker of the great universe to help us. All we have to do is ask. We must remember the great size of God and the great power of God. We need to stop trying to limit God or compartmentalize Him.
There are no limits to God’s Power or God’s Love for us.
