SLICK WALK

I went walking out to feed the animals this evening, following along a very narrow path in the snow that I had shoveled. I hit the side of the path with my foot and fell down. It came to me that life is much like that. We, as Christians try to stay on the narrow path, but sometimes we slip. Although we catch ourselves sometimes, it's inevitable as sinful people that we will fall eventually. Inevitable? Yes! Maybe only a little sometimes, but we will not always be able to catch ourselves in time. It will only be when we are safe in the arms of our Savior that we will avoid the fall totally. I can't wait until that time, can you? Until that time I'm going to try to walk more carefully, counting on HIM to light my path. Maybe get some better snow boots.
