"God, help me!
Please tell me what to do.
My life's a mess.
God, I need you."
"I've tried so hard,
And yet I can't win.
Just when life gets better,
There's a problem again."
"I want to give up.
But what would that do?
That wouldn't help me,
And I'd disappoint you."
"So I'll keep breathing
In this body I'm in.
But life will keep me sad...
That's how it's always been."
As I gazed up at the sky,
And waited for God's voice;
I felt a breeze, and heard,
"My child, you have a choice."
"Think like Me or think like man
You have a free will.
Master your problems
By controlling how you feel."
"You've been hurt many times
From what the devil's done to you.
Your past gave you scars
From fights you've been through."
"Winning is in the mind.
You lose if you plan to fail.
But if you have the mind of Christ,
No devil in hell can prevail."
