"Jesus, where are you?"
I cried out to the Lord;
"Don’t you know I need you?
Don’t you love me anymore?"
"Please listen to me, beloved.
I Am always here for you;
Yes I know you need Me,
And do I love you? Yes I do."
"Then why is nothing happening?
Why am I still in pain?
Why haven't my prayers been answered?
I even asked in Your Name."
"May I ask, 'where is your faith?'
May I ask, 'do you not trust in Me?'
Am I a God too small for you,
That makes you not believe?"
"I’m sorry, Lord, for doubting.
My past sins made me this way;
I feel as though You're punishing me,
And this is the price I must pay."
"I paid that price because I love you.
In your heart, you know I do;
Why punish yourself for no reason?
It was My desire to die for you."
"Just believe you are forgiven,
And I washed all your sins away;
Just believe I'll help you,
And will always answer when you pray."
