Jesus went so far as to claim the name of God I AM as His own. For any created angel, or any other created being to claim that name would be blasphemy. When Jesus clamed that name as His own, the Jewish leaders knew He was claiming equality with God the Father. Jesus said to the Jewish leaders:

"Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day. He saw it and was glad. You are not yet fifty
years old, the Jews said to Him, and you have seen Abraham? I tell you the truth, Jesus answered, before
Abraham was I AM.
(John 8:58)

Notice Jesus didn't say before was, I was, no He said before Abraham was I AM, expressing the eternality of His being, and his oneness with the Father. I AM was the name by which God wished to be known and worshipped by in Israel.

Moses said to God, suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them. The God of your Fathers has sent me to you.
and they ask me What's His name? then what shall I them? God said to Moses, I AM who I AM, this is what
what you are to say to Israelites, tell them I AM has sent me to you. (Exo. 3:14.)

The Jews were quite familiar with the name I AM by the time Jesus came along, they knew it was God's name. To the Jews it was blasphemy, to them Jesus was making Himself equal with God, now they were out to Kill Him. They didn't care if His claim was true or not, they wanted Him dead. Here again Jesus claims equality with God:

Jesus answered them and said, I and My Father are one. Then the Jews picked up stones to stone Him.
Jesus answered them, many good works have I shown you from My father. For which one of these
do you stone Me? Then the Jews answered Him saying, for a good work we do not stone you, but
for blasphemy! And because you being a man, make yourself God. (John 10:30.)

In this account the Jews clearly understood Jesus' words as a clam to be God. Jesus was killed for claiming equality with God. Jesus was murdered for the false claim of blasphemy. (claiming equality with God.) again Jesus makes a direct claim to deity:

Jesus answered them saying, My Father has been working until now, and I have been working. Then the
Jews sought even more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but He also said God was His
Father, making Himself equal with God. (John5:17.)

Again the Jews recognizes Jesus' claim to deity.
God was manifested in the flesh:
and without controversy great is mystery of godliness: God was manifestin the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of angels,
preached unto the gentiles, believed on, received up in glory.
(Tim. 3:16)"

Even the holy angels of God are commanded to worship Jesus.
Again when He bringeth His first born Son into the world, He said Let all the angels of God worship
Him. He maketh His angels spirits, and His ministers flames of fire. But to the Son He saith, thou
throne O God is for ever and ever. A scepter of righteousness is the screpter of thy Kingdom. (Heb.1:6-6 )

Here we see even the holy angels of God are commanded to worship Jesus, and as we will see, the whole creation is to bow down and worship Jesus. Jesus was even worshipped a as a baby, before He could walk or talk.

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea during time of king Herod, magi from the east came to Jerusalem
and asked, where is the one born king of the Jews? We was his star in the east and have come to worship
Him. On coming to the house, they saw the child and his mother, Mary and they bow down and worshipped Him.
Matt. 2:1-11)

Phil. 2:10. States: At the name of Jesus every knee will bow, in heaven and on earth, and under the earth. Here we see all creation worshiping Jesus, worship that is reserved for God only. Jesus Himself said we are to worship God only, yet He accepted the worship of men and angels. For Jesus to accept the worship of others. He would either have to be God or an imposter. Since we know Hefs not an imposter, He must be God.

Jesus is worshipped by the disciples:

"During the fourth of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the water. When the disciples saw Him
walking on the lake they were terrified. it's a ghost they said and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately
said to them. Take courage! It is I. don't be afraid. Lord if its you, Peter replied, command me to come to
you on the water. Then peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw
the winds, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, Lord save me! Immediately Jesus reached out
His hand and caught him. You of little faith He said. Why did you doubt? And when they climbed bask into
the boat the winds died down. And those who were in the boat worshipped Him, saying truly you are the Son
of God. (Matt. 14:25-33.)

Throughout the gospels we see Jesus being worshipped, and never do we find Him rebuking anyone for it. Here is another scripture where Jesus is worshipped.

"Then the angel said to the women, do not be afraid for I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified,
He is not here; He has risen, just as He said. Come see the place where lay. Then go quickly and tell His
disciples: He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of them into Galilee. There you will see Him. Now
I have told you. So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell the
disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. Greeting He said. Them they came to Him, clasp Him by the feet and

Jesus is not only worshipped as God, He is also prayed to. The Word of God teaches us pray to God only. Not to the saints as some do,nor to the angels or any other being. Yet we see Jesus being prayed to Juust as God the Father is.

"While they were yet stoning him, Stephen prayed, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. Then he fell down on his
knees and cried out, Lord do not hold this sin against them. When he said this he fell sleep. (Acts 7:59)

Not only is Jesus prayed to He even forgives sin. We know that all sin is commited against God, and yet Jesus forgave them. The Jews were not ignorant when it came to the Word of God. They knew from scripture, that only God can forgive manfs sin. And it is true only God can forgive sin. And because Jesus is God He can forgive man.s sin.

"When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, your sins are forgiven you. But some of the scribs
sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, why does this man speak blasphemies like this? Who can
forgive sin but God alone? (Mark 27-7)
Again Jesus is being accused of blasphemy (making Himself equal with God.) Now lets compare the attributes of Jehovah an Jesus.

All the divine attributes attributed to Jehovah are also attributed to the Son. There is no separating the two, all that the Father is the Son is, the two are one.

(JEHOVAH IS CREATOR AND JESUS IS CRATOR) Job 33:4. The Spirit of the Lord has made me: the breath of the Almighty gives me life. John1:3. Through Him (Jesus) all things were made, without Him nothing was made that has been made.
Isa. 40:28. Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. John1:3 For by Him (Jesus) all things were created; things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or authorities; all things were made by Him. (I AM) Exodus 3:14. God said to Moses, I AM who I AM,this is what you are to say to the Israelites, tell them I AM has sent me to you. John 8:58. I tell you the truth, Jesus answered, before Abraham was I AM. (THE WORD WAS GOD) John 1:1. In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God,and the word was God. John1:14. The Word (Jesus) was made flesh, and dwelt among us. (ONLY GOD IS FROM EVERLASTING) Psalms 93:1-2. The Lord riegneth, He's clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strengh, where with He hath girded Himself: the world is also established, that it cannot be moved. Thy throne is established of old thou art from everlasting. Micah 5:2. But thou, Bethlehem Ephratach out of thee shall come fort unto Me that is to be ruler of Israel; whose going fort have been from old, from everlasting.
