Everyone has a problem
Or desires that are unmet;
But I’ll reveal the purpose
That you might not forget
You're a work in progress
The clay molded in My hands;
There's pressure you endure
Heat you must withstand
You're My masterpiece
Refined into likeness of My Son;
You must stay in the fire
Until My work is done
Your struggles draw you to Me
Your wants cause you to pray;
If you fought for nothing
You’d not know I’m the Way
I’m developing your character
Shaping you into Me;
I’m interested in the inner man
The parts you do not see
Every challenge you experience
Are like storms and disasters;
But you build strength
And receive peace from your Master
Your hardships and your wishes
Your weaknesses and pain;
Causes you to surrender
But your dieing leads to gain
