You are in a desperate problem. The enemy is closing in on you. You are not giving God options on how to rescue you. An instant escape, according to you, is the only solution.
You ask God to provide you with wings, and so instantly, that you may fly away from the enemy.
God responds, yes, but not the way you had anticipated.
He takes away your feet so that you can't even run when you had wanted to fly.
He tells you: "Stay put and see My salvation!"
Oh Lord, help us when anxiety overwhems, for Your word says that we shouldn't be anxious of anything.
