The spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. (1Tim. 4:1)

As the end approaches there are more and more cults claming to be Christian, but they deny the basic doctrine of the Christian faith, the deity of Jesus Christ. Organizations like the Jehovah's Witness, Christians Science, and the New Age Movement (NAM) etc. The Jehovah's Witness founded by Charles T. Russell has rewritten the word of God in their rewritten bible (New World Translation) and taken out everything that doesn't agree with their New Age philosophy, and replaced it with the teaching of Mr. Russell.

Charles Russell formed the
Zion's Watch Tower Tract Society in 1884. Ten years prior to that Russell studied with a branch of the Second Adventist and was influenced by their teachings. The Second Adventist taught against the bodily return of Jesus Christ. Many of the doctrines published by Mr. Russell are rejected by the present day Watch Tower Society, but he left a strong impact on them. Some beliefs Christian and Jehovah's Witness share, but there are some major doctrine differences.

The Witness don't believe that Jesus is God. They say the bible speaks of the Son of God, the Word (Jesus) as a god, but not the very God of heaven that came down in the flesh. But this false doctrine is nothing new, it reared its ugly head even in the young church at Colosse. There were a large number of people in the church that were into Gnosticism and other forms of eastern mysticism, one of their beliefs was that matter is all evil and spirit is all good. Since matter is evil, God could not take on human form, so God had to be removed as far as possible from matter, which is evil. So they reduced Jesus to a created being, the highest angel, but still a created being.

The term Gnosticism come from the Greek word for knowledge gnosis. They believe they have certain knowledge of the divine realm that is hidden from the average Christian. This hidden knowledge is revealed only to the spiritual elite, which they claim to be. This secret knowledge, they say, gives them the right to interpret the Word of God contrary to the bible. This secret knowledge also gives them the right to place their own personal revelations and spiritual experiences above the Word of God. This cancerous doctrine was infecting the church, so the apostle Paul had to address this problem right away, so he wrote to the church at Colosse, he said:

In Christ dwells all the fullness of The Godhead bodily. ( Col. 2:1)

Did you get that? The apostle said all of God was in the man Jesus Christ. When I looked up the definition of all I found that all includes everything and exclude nothing! The apostle Paul says all of God was in the man Jesus Christ. All the attributes and essences of deity was in Jesus Christ. Here the apostle declares the duel nature of Jesus, so Jesus was both God and Man, human and divine. To get a better understanding of who Jesus is, we need to know who He was before coming to earth as a man.

Let this same attitude (purpose and humble) mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who
being in the form of God thought it not robbery to equal with God. (Phil 2:6.)

The Greek word used here for being is (hyparcho) which translates to existing or subsisting. The word says Jesus has always existed with God the Father, as God the Son, co- existent, co-eternal, co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit, Jesus had no beginning and will have no end. The Words says He was in the form of God. The word used here for form is (morphe) and means the exact image of someone.

God has in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, being the Brightness of His glory, and the express
Image of his bring.h (Heb. 1:1-3)

Phil. 5:7 says He made of Himself no reputation. He empted himself. Jesus had to temporarily leave his power and glory in heaven. That's why the word says He become poor for our sake. He had to depend of the Father for everything he needed, as an example of how mankind was to live. Depending on every word that precedth out of the mouth of God the Father. He Gave up His power willingly because of His love for the Father, and his love for mankind. He is the only begotten unique Son of God. In scripture the word begot is use to indicate that one person comes from the seed of another

So a man's son would be the essence of what his father is. The son would have everything his father has in himself, heart, lungscetc. all that's in the father that make him a man is also in the son to make him a man, nothing is left out. All that the Father is, the Son is, the two are one.
Jesus had been with is disciples a long time, teaching them about the Kingdom of Heaven and the Father. They knew that Jesus was the Son of God, but now they were asking Jesus to show them God Himself. Jesus replied:

Phillip saith unto Him, Lord, show us the Father, and it will suffice us. Jesus said unto him, I have been
so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known Me. Phillip? HE THAT HATH SEEN ME HATH
SEEN THE FATHER, how saith thou show us the father? (John 14:8-9)

You see even the Lord's disciples didn't understand who he was until after His death and resurrection. It was Thomas who openly declared who Jesus really is:

Now Thomas Called (Didmus) one of the twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. So the disciples
told him, we have seen the Lord! But Thomas said to them, unless I see the nail marks in His hands and put
my finger they were I will not believe. A week later His disciples were in the house again, this time Thomas was with them.
Jesus came, though they were behind closed doors, and among them and said, peace to you! He said
to Thomas, reach out your finger, and see my hands, and put your hand in My side. Do not be faithless incred-
ulous, but stop your un belief and believe. Thomas answered Him my Lord and my God. (John 20:25-28)

Notice Thomas addressed Jesus as his God, yet Jesus did not correct him. Had Jesus been just another angel he would have rebuked Thomas immediately. Whenever men attempted to worship the holy angels of God, they were rebuked immediately:

And he said to me, these are the true words of God then I fell down at his to worship him, but he said
to me, you are not to do that! I am fellow servant with you and your comrades who hold to the testimony of
Jesus Christ. (Rev. 19:9-10)

It would be blasphemy for Jesus to not correct people when they worshipped Him, if he were not God. Only God is to Be worshipped. John also recognize Jesus as God.

In the beginning was the Word (Jesus) and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things
were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life, and
life was the light of men. And the light shineth in the darkness, and the darkness comprehended not.
(John 1:1-5)

Notice scripture says nothing about Jesus being a created angel. It says He was in the beginning with God, and was God. Now how He was with God and was God, I don't know, but this is what the bible teaches. I dare not change it because I don't understand something about it. The Word says there are things we are not going to understand until we get to the other side. Even then we are not going to understand everything about God, because when know everything about God, He stops being God. The word says He made all things, remember 'all' (include includes everything and exclude nothing.) so if He created all things as the bible says, then He Himself could not be a created being, because there would be one thing He didn't create, He could not have created Himself. No Jesus is not a created being. Jesus had no beginning and will have no end. Here is another scripture that states the eternality of Jesusf being.

But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah though thou little among the thousand of Judah, yet out of thee shall
come fort unto Me one that is ruler of Israel: whose going fort have been from everlasting. (mi 5:2)

THE Word Says it was He, God who purchased us with His own blood. When Jesus was murdered at Calvary and they pierced Him in His side, blood and water came streaming out, it was the blood Blood of God Himself pouring out for a word that hated him.

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to the flock, over which the Holy Ghost hath made you
overseers, to feed the church the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood
(Acts 20 :28)
