God, why do I struggle in life?
Why do I always fight, and never win?
Lord, why do I keep going through this?
Is it punishment for my sin?
People ask Me these questions
And their confusion, I understand;
Hardship is inevitable
But not what I had planned
I don't punish people for sins
If I do, then Jesus died in vain;
If I punish people today
Then what did Jesus gain?
There has and always will be trouble
In the lives of all mankind;
But I love those who love Me
And will protect and defend Mine
Everything Satan does for evil
I turn it around and use for good;
Who will choose to ask Me for help?
Wise men are ones who would
The devil torments unbelievers
And I have a chance to save their soul;
When he attacks, they run to pray
I’m the only safe place they know
But his target's not just on the sinner
He knows the unsaved are in his hand;
It’s believers he loves to torment too
He hates every christian man
When Satan sinned against Me
I made hell for him and his host;
But his revenge has grieved My heart
To torture who I love most
I Am a God who's never too late
It’s in your darkest hour, I come;
That’s when I get the Glory
And clear where your help came from
Rely on your Father as Jesus did
No matter how hard life may be;
The Holy Spirit gives you power to endure
As you spend time with Me
Nothing can touch you unless I allow
Remember to always seek My face;
You won't go through what you can’t handle
You're covered by My Grace
