This poem is heart-wrenching. You depict the DARKness very well. Most people living in a city don't KNOW what dark is. I do. I once lived out in the country where, on a starless night, the DARK was so black that you could FEEL it. It penetrates to the centre of one's being. This dark that you depicted is like that, only it speaks of spiritual darkness. Even as a Christian, one can often feel that the DARKness of soul will swallow you up. THEN COMES THE MORNING STAR. What a glorious relief! ... Well-written poem...Sorry I haven't been able to get to read too many of your articles lately. My latest article will explain.
