A skillful writer is not one that knows all of the right grammer rules and misspelled words. A skillful writer is one that knows and understands the word of God. The writer should know the power to be able to minister to lost people all over the world. As a writer this should be done through our written words alone.
I am blessed and honored that God has given me the skill to write. Nevertheless, it is more important that He gave me the understanding of Salvation.
Sometimes, I wonder what it would be like if I have never accepted Christ. Would I be writing my devotions and Christian fiction now? Probably not!
Isn't funny how a reader looks at every mistake that a writer makes? I think that must be what God does at times. He must look at our lives and wonder why we keep making the same mistakes over and over again. All He wants for us to do is to simply trust in Him. Yet at times, it is hard for us to do.
Many times, it is the temptations that get to us. In some ways it is the same things that a writer deals with every day. Our topics is a choice. These topics will forever decide who we are as writers. Will we write about wordly things or will we write for the glory of Christ Jesus our Savior? This is the question writers must ask themselves every day.
Now, it comes time for you our readers to make a choice as well. How will you live your life? Will it be by the worlds standards or will it be by a life in Christ Jesus? Did you know the choice is totally up to you?
God will forever stand at your hearts door knocking and waiting for the day you invite Him in!
