If God had a weakness
It’s out of the question
To think such a thing!
For He is divine.
But if He did
What would it be?
His anger, mercy,
Grace, justice
Or infinity, unlimited existence,
Perfection, divinity
Or love?
What could it be?
Just those ponderings
Spark my curiosity.
If God had a weakness
What would it be?
It could be love
For you and me!
Love was always His plan
From ages past and all in between.
He sent His only Son
To die for our sins.
He loved us so much
For His Son’s blood to be shed.
God is love; Love is God.
He saves and redeems.
His love extends to one and all
A love that sets us free!
If God had a weakness…
I believe..
It would be His love for you and me!
