A house is not built with wooden sticks
With mud and stone or even bricks

You cannot construct it out of steel
But only with the love the inhabitants feel

You can build a house out of hatred too
But it’s more like a prison and holds only you

Let’s build our house up with Love and trust
With a faith in our Lord that is true and just

And let’s not destroy it with selfishness
Or a spirit of envy that we made our guest

Help us pray for the faith Lord, to build in this way
And to not lose our courage and then go astray

A house that is built out of sexual lust
Will soon see decay, then dissolve in the dust
