There is such power in words to connect people. We can feel what they're feeling through their expression of words. We can feel that we are not alone through another's words. Friendships are formed without ever meeting! Words can bring people from different worlds together.
This reminds me that Jesus was called "the Word". God could have decided to call Jesus, "the Act" or "the Thought" but He didn't. He called Jesus "the Word". It's a powerful concept, and makes me even more mindful of what I write. God's making His Son an analogy of words illustrates that they are powerful and influential as a means of communicating God's love and in some way, must be...everlasting. It makes you think, doesn't it.
