Sound the trumpet in Zion and lift high His banner.
I will sing for joy over Christ’s banner of victory
I will taste and see that the Lord is good
For Jesus’ banner over me is love everlasting.
I love thee O Lord with all my heart.
You are my stronghold and my shield,
My Redeemer, and the horn of my Salvation.
In Your name I am blessed with safety and comfort.
It is a strong tower to which the righteous run
And I find safety in it for He protect His anointed.
I will not boast in chariots, sword, or horses
But the strong and mighty right hand of the Lord.
In my distress, I called to Him and he heard me from His holy hill.
His angels encamp all around me because my heart trusts in him.
He subdues my enemies before me because I fear Him.
He girds me with strength and delivers me from calamity.
The Lord is mighty in battle and uplifts my head in glory.
He executes vengeance for me while I am in His sanctuary.
The Lord is on my side and man, demons, death and Hell
Cannot prevail against His mighty banner of love.
