Night falls, and daylight fades
As colours blend to grey
This is when I come alive
As shadows dance away
Fear of life fades to calm
In moonlight's sweet caress
Dreams of hope now awake
Away from daylight's mess
A creature of night, this am I
A child of dark and storms
The passions of light never mine
Alone I face this day no more.
