Prayer can make a difference
Call to me and I will answer you. I'll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own-Jeremiah 33:3 TM
Prayer changes things! I know that you've probably heard this phrase a million times if not a million and one just as I have. I've not only heard but have also seen it posted on signs, car tags and even on bathroom mirrors.
Prayer changes things isn't just another saying that we carelessly use here and there. It actually has the power to make drastic transformations and or alterations within any situation. Still have doubts about that oh so famous phrase-well take a look at this verses-1) When the Israelites were moaning, groaning and fearful of death didn't Mosses' prayer for guidance change things (Exodus 14:15; 15:25 & 17:4 NIV)? 2) When Solomon became king and needed instructions on how to be a great king didn't his prayer change things (2 Chronicles 1:8 NIV)? 3) When all the wise men were ordered to execution didn't Daniel's plea to his friends to pray change things (Daniel 2:18 NIV)? If prayer made a difference in those situations, why wouldn't prayer have the same effect in/on yours?
As my pastor has said time and time again "we need to pray without cease"! Oh how true that is! We need to pray without an end because prayer not only has the power to transform our difficult situations but it also has the ability to transform us into His likeness (2 Corinthians 3:18 NIV).
Pray, pray and pray again!
