Lord I feel so empty
I can’t live without Your word
You know I’m always asking You
About the things I’ve heard

Come once again to me my Father
Give me revelation
My teachers have no answers
So I sit here in frustration

I wait here for Your wisdom
Holy Spirit fill me up
The world has no answers
Let me drink more from Your cup

My place is there beside You
Sitting on Your humble throne
I cannot take Your place
But I was born to be Your own
