We know a grand lady, so kind and nice.
She's a woman so great, my words won't sufice.
She's lived through changes, both big and small.
Someone who is mother and grandmother to us all.
She lived on a farm with her family and a horse named Jack
A horse who sometimes let her ride his back.
As she grew up, she became one so fair.
She met a man named Herb, and he courted her there.
They eventually married, and a family began.
I'll list their names, and I know I know I can.
There's uncles Wilf and John,
Aunt Sandra,
And my mom,
Lona.
She raised them through hard times and good,
And it's understood
That we love you
For all you have done....like camping, and things you still do.
We hope you have many more birthdays
And that your life is full in many ways.
