not exactly;
But, I know, as I sat there on somethin',
some kind of, somethin’;
As people were millin’ about, here and there,
walkin’, talkin’, ya know, here, there;
It was then, not sure when, but it was then,
That I just about, well I just thought, so then;
Nothin’ but walkin’, talkin’ dead,
Alive, but dead . . . all alive, but dead;
My whole view of everythin’, I mean it all,
It just changed, all and all in all, I say all;
Well, I got down, on my knees, in my mind,
Got down there, and pleaded, inside the mind;
Jesus, if you’re really God, like they say you’re really God, would ya,
I was cryin’ inside and outside, would ya somehow rescue me, would ya;
And, . . . um, . . . ah, . . . He did,
I say . . . I tell ya . . . listen . . . He really did;
Cause . . . well . . . I’m sayin’ this cause . . . I love ya,
Simple, I know, but from me, no way, but . . . I . . . love ya;
Simple, . . . thank ya, Jesus,
Praise God, thank ya, Jesus.
