Every once in awhile seems something happens that blesses us that we do not expect. I woke up last nite..Actually around 4AM for a nature call. I went into the little room and heard singing. I looked around and couldn’t figure where it was coming from. I kept hearing ‘Hallelujah” over and over. I went towards the toilet and it was coming from it. Just as clear as if someone was singing I kept hearing the word “Hallelujah”. Apparently there is a small water leak in the tank but it made that sound so clearly. I really hated to flush it.
It just put a smile on my face as I thought about scripture.
Philippians 2:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in
earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Ps 150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
A toilet is a thing….even it can Praise the Lord…are we not much better and smarter? Look at what all a toilet must endure. Do we have to put up with all of the (blank) that a toilet does? It can say Hallelujah and praise the Lord. Shouldn’t we be able and more willing to praise Him much more than a toilet? Does God have to depend on a thing such as a toilet to praise Him after all He has done for us? No matter what you have gone through remember the toilet..if it can do it…then so can you!. God desires to inhabit the praises of His people. Shouldn’t we say Hallelujah and Praise the Lord more than things? Let’s just praise Him!!!
