Have you ever danced upon the Milky Way?
Pierced the cloudy veils where there is no day?
Twirled around Saturn? On Uranus spun?
Dodged shooting stars--Soared above the sun?
Through Hubble’s eye, I watched a star give birth,
Fathom a Galaxy--one billion light years in girth.
Here creation’s Artist took hold of His brush
Painted the Universe--all of Heaven now hushed.
Floating freely in awe, amid this great open space
Expecting the moon and me, to soon be face to face.
The Planets each moved with such beauty and grace
One nebular form shone like sparkling white lace.
Then all of creation burst forth in sweet praise
To the Lion of Judah and the Ancient of days.
Then, the Bright Morning Star responded in kind
Echoes of love embracing space and mankind.
I have traveled beyond what man’s eye can behold,
to a realm of vast wonder and riches untold.
On these waterless waves my spirit did trod
Catching barely a glimpse of my Omnipotent God.
