As sweat pours out from your head.
Its soaks your pillow, and wakes you from your bed.
You cry out in sorrow, and in pain.
So loud, your agony you could not restrain.
Who can help, there could be no other.
As you look up through the tears, you see your Mother.
She pats down your head, and wipes the sweat away.
She turns to leave but you beckon her to stay.
She places her soft hand on top of your forehead.
Her touch alone calms you in your bed.
Now that she’s there you know it will be all right
You have peace and calmness, instead of your fright.
Go back to sleep now I’ll be right here.
You close your eyes, no longer in fear.
You wake from your fever, but she is long gone.
You thought you would not miss her that you have moved on.
A tear fills your eye, as you realize she no longer there.
You’re all alone and full of despair.
So if you have a Mother by birth or action by your side.
Even if you’re an orphan, don’t let your feelings hide.
Honor her, at lease, on Mothers Day
Thank GOD for her without any delay.
(We all have a Mothering figure in our lives, be it by birth or situation...
we all come from a Mother somewhere, without her we would not be here, to have the opportunity to praise GOD.)
So Thank GOD for The Mother of Your Birth.
And if your lucky enough for the Mothering figures in your life.
Many can have children...
but it takes a special person to be a Mother.
Happy Mothers Day
