Sometimes life seems like shadows,
The road we take , we’re not prepared,
And in the time that we least expect it
A gift is given to be shared.
We look at the box, it‘s packaged just right
All the bows in place
If ever a moment was precious
It would be untying the lace’
Sometimes the giver is anonymous
Making that instant so rare
But when we take a closer look,
We realize it was always there.
True treasure remains, never blown in the wind
Wealth is not only silver and gold
But prosperity comes, when we follow the lead
Of the One God chose from old
So with every breath, we thank Him
My trial , not the same as yours
Indeed we all at times will be tested
There is rest beyond these shores
Until then we journey on
Learning to appreciate each day
If we get confused or wearied,
Just remember the Words He did say
“ I’ll never leave you nor forsake you”.
He is always near, and if ever someone I am sure that He loves, to Him you are so dear.
