The terror of night
Nor the arrows by day,
His hand will protect me
Whatever the fray.
No plagues or diseases,
No weapon man's formed,
Hid under His wings
My mind is transformed.
For He is my dwelling,
My refuge of peace,
Though troubles surround,
All fears I release.
For He is my shelter,
What He wills will be,
No matter what happens,
I know He loves me.
My future's protected,
With Him I shall dwell,
On earth or in heav'n
I know all is well.
No foe can defeat me
And I'm free at last,
For fear has no hold
And God's mercy is vast.
