Cash is king
"Cash is king"
Cash is king! To whom is the first question that came out of my mouth when I heard this earlier today. If you couldn't already tell cash is certainly not king or a king in my life and it shouldn't be in yours either.
In 1 Timothy 6:10 NIV the Bible tells us that the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. If cash is king in your life you've already demonstrated it's order of importance and your love for it. How you may ask? Does not the royal order follow as king, queen, prince and princess?
As humans we usually put things that are of the most importance at the top our list of priorities then everything else follows. If becoming rich by the means of wealth is the number one thing on your list, then you've already fallen into temptation and or a trap which only plunges into great ruin and destruction (1 Timothy 6:9 NIV). Eagerness to get rich and being a servant of Christ can't exist with each.
Don't pierce yourself with many griefs by wondering from the path in an attempt to get rich quick (1 Timothy 6:10 NIV). If it is God will for you to become as rich as Solomon was (1 Kings 3:13 NIV) then it will happen just as He as planned. Until that day occurs don't waste your time chasing after wealth/riches because they will surely sprout wings and fly off (Proverbs 23:5 NIV) just because of your pursuit of them.
