Rich: It certainly is good to be back in Church. I’m so glad you invited me. Maybe we know some of the same people here. So… who’s in Church today?
Dee: Oh, do you know him?
Rich: Who?
Dee: Exactly, do you know Who?
Rich: No, listen, who is in Church?
Dee: Oh good. I haven’t seen him for awhile. I hope he is okay.
Rich: Okay with who?
Dee: Yes.
Rich: Who’s okay?
Dee: Well, that’s a relief.
Rich: No, no! Where is this guy who you’re talking about.
Dee: Well, Who is certainly not Where.
Rich: I don’t know, where?!
Dee: Well, I’ll just have to introduce you to him sometime
Rich: Introduce me to who?
Dee: No, Where.
Rich: Which is certainly where this conversation is going. I am simply asking who is in the Church.
Dee: Well, its more appropriate to say Who is the Church.
Rich: Don’t you mean what is the Church?
Dee: Well, I know Who and Where are the Church but I kind of wonder about What.
Rich: You wonder about what?
Dee: Yes, his salvation.
Rich: Who’s salvation?
Dee: Oh, I know Who’s saved. I’m talking about What’s salvation.
Rich: What’s salvation?
Dee: Yes.
Rich: Well, I just know that I’m a sinner saved by grace.
Dee: Oh, did she save you too?
Rich: Who?
Dee: No, silly, Grace! She’s quite a soul winner. And did you know …she sings real pretty too. Oh yes, Amazing Grace… how sweet the sound. And to think she saved a Rich like you!
Rich: (deciding to change the subject). Oh, here comes the offering plate. I just believe it is such a wonderful privilege to contribute to the work of the Lord.
Dee: Well, so do I, but I just wish they would quit giving everything to that person named Tori.
Rich: Tori!?
Dee: Yes. They keep saying it’s all for Tori.
Rich: All for Tori?! Oh… no no!that’s “offertory”!
Dee: That’s what I said… “All for Tori”!
Rich: (decides once again to change the subject)
I like the way the early Church use to meet. You know, in people’s homes.
Dee: No they didn’t. They would meet in a car.
Rich: In a car?! They didn’t even have cars back then!
Dee: Well it says so in the Bible.
Rich: It doesn’t say in the Bible that they met in a car!
Dee: Yes it does. It says that they met together and were all in one Accord.
Rich: (shakes his head, pauses, then asks…) Say, who’s preaching Today?
Dee: (excited) Oh! He is?!
Rich: (puts his head in his hands and just shakes his head)
