If Satan were to say:
“God knows that ye have thy daily needs;
Does it not say thou shall have need of bread alone?”

And what would you say?

If Satan were to say:
“God knows that ye were not meant to deny wealth;
Does it not say blessed are those no longer poor?”

And what would you say?

If Satan were to say:
“God knows that ye were meant to always be happy;
Does it not say blessed are those who know no sorrow?”

And what would you say?

If Satan were to say:
“God knows that ye were meant to be better off than most;
Does it not say that the weak will be disinherited?”

And what would you say?

If Satan were to say:
“God knows that ye cannot always show mercy as needed;
Does it not say to show mercy is to not be shown mercy?”

And what would you say?

If Satan were to say:
“God knows that ye cannot always hold saintly thoughts;
Does it not say that to do so is to think yourself God?”

And what would you say?

If Satan were to say:
“God knows that conflict is sometimes justified;
Does it not say that peacemakers are like children?

And what would you say?

If Satan were to say:
“God knows that persecution for being Christian is to be avoided;
Does it not say that penalties would result in God’s kingdom?”

And what would you say?

If Satan were to say:
“God knows ye cannot always be faithful to your mate;
Does it not say that the flesh is too weak?”

And what would you say?

If Satan were to say:
“God knows that ye cannot learn the entire Bible;
Does it not say the spirit shall teach instead?”

And what would you say?

If Satan were to say:
“God knows of ye, thou shall not surely die;
Does it not say . . . ”

And . . . surely . . . what would you say?

Jesus replied to satan 'IT IS WRITTEN"....satan twists the word to make it say what it does not say. We need to know the Word of God so we can stand against our enemy. Thank you for sharing this...it should make us think. GOD BLESS YOU
