)When something happens in your life and the 1st thing that comes out of your mouth is “I’m not going to worry about it because I know that God’s got it” (We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him-Romans 8:28-NIV) then you know that you’ve grown.
)When someone has talked about you and it’s gotten back to you then you just say “whatever” (Blessed are you when people insult, persecute and falsely say all kinds of things about you-Matthew 5:11-NIV)then you know that you’ve grown.
)When you know that someone has gone out of their way to harm or upset you then you just walk away and don’t even give it a second thought (Pray for those who persecute you-Matthew 5:44-NIV)then you know that you’ve grown.
)When you bless someone in their time of need and fail to mention it to anyone else but God by saying thank you for allowing me to do that (Don’t announce it with trumpets or in synagogues-Matthew 6:2-NIV) then you know that you’ve grown.
)When someone’s life style doesn't necessarily agree with what you feel is right then you find yourself saying it’s their life (Don’t judge or you too will be judged-Matthew 7:1-NIV)then you know that you’ve grown.
)When you weigh out your options instead of making rash decisions (Suppose a king is about to go to war against another king, will he not first sit down and consider whether he is able with 10,000 men to oppose the one coming against him with 20,000-Luke14:31-NIV) then you know that you’ve grown.
Now these are only a few ways of determining if you’ve grown or not nonetheless the question that you must ask yourself is “have I grown throughout my walk with Christ?”
